Jean-Christophe Pernollet

Chairman

Jean-Christophe Pernollet is Chief Risk Officer of Edmond de Rothschild Group and Banque Edmond de Rothschild (Suisse) S.A.. He joined Edmond de Rothschild Group in 2012.

He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of EFG International AG from 2010, after spending around 20 years as an external bank auditor mainly in Switzerland at PricewaterhouseCoopers SA, as a partner from 2001 and as Chief Executive Officer of PwC Geneva for five years. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Swissquote Holding.

François Rayroux

A Partner at Lenz & Staehelin, an international law firm specialising in corporate law, banking law and tax law, with offices in Geneva, Lausanne and Zurich. François Rayroux holds a law degree from the University of Zurich, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Chicago Law School and a PhD in Law (magna cum laude) from the University of Zurich. His doctoral thesis, completed in 1993, focused on comparative private international law. Admitted to the bar in Geneva and Zurich, he is also an expert recognised by SIX Swiss Exchange in the listing of financial products, including real estate funds and ETFs.

François Rayroux has penned multiple publications in French, German and English in the field of banking law and finance, focusing in particular on financial services and collective investments. He regularly contributes to the drafting of Swiss regulations governing financial services and collective investments, and sits on the Compliance Committee of the Swiss Funds and Asset Management Association. Francois Rayroux co-wrote the Swiss Netting and Collateral Opinions for the International Swaps and Derivatives Association.

François Pradervand

François PRADERVAND

François Pradervand is Head of Private Banking at Banque Edmond de Rothschild (Suisse) S.A.

After 4 years as head of the Independent Asset Managers department at UBS Geneva, he joined the Edmond de Rothschild Group in 2011 to take responsibility for and develop the Independent Asset Managers activities of the Edmond de Rothschild Group.

Prior to this, François held various management positions in both Geneva and Zurich with responsibility for portfolio management and advisory teams, initially for UBS as Market Head Products & Services Middle & Near East, Africa. He began his career in FX, in Zurich and New York with Société de Banque Suisse, then with Lombard Odier & Cie in Geneva, before becoming a portfolio manager for private clients.

Pierre Jacquot

Pierre Jacquot

Pierre Jacquot is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Edmond de Rothschild REIM and boasts more than 25 years’ experience in real estate. He also directly supervises the fund management business in Switzerland. After founding Orox Asset Management in Switzerland in 2007, Pierre Jacquot was actively involved in launching and developing Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate SICAV. In recent years, he helped consolidate investment and asset management entities in Germany, the United Kingdom, Benelux and France. 

Pierre started his career in the construction industry, working in various international markets (Hong Kong, South Africa, Hungary, then Switzerland). At Bouygues Group, he successively worked in engineering, project management, acquisition, development and management of real estate. In 2005, he headed the Geneva office of Losinger Construction.

He is also a Professor at the IEI (Swiss Real Estate Research Institute) in Geneva and SVIT in Lausanne. He chairs the Romandy section of the ASEI (Swiss Real Estate Economics Association). 

Pierre trained as a civil engineer and earned a degree from ESTP (School for Major Public Works) Paris.

René Zagolin

Holding a degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Neuchâtel and a federal certification in provident insurance management, René Zagolin has worked for more than 30 years in corporate financial management, provident insurance and institutional real estate.

He was Head of Finance and Administration for 10 years on the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), then Director of the ICRC’s Pension Fund from 2006 to 2016 and Chairman of the ICRC’s Investment Committee. He previously served as Financial Controller for Carrefour, then as Head of Treasury and International Taxes at Philip Morris in Switzerland. He has also served as a board member of various foundations.

He is currently Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Edmond de Rothschild REIM (Suisse) SA and a member of the Investment Committee of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). He also sits on the Board of Directors of Climber Capital SA.

Laure Carrard

With a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from HES and a Federal Diploma in Financial Analyst and Asset Managers (CIIA), Laure Carrard is Director and Real Estate Investment Advisor at IMvestir Partners SA. As specialist in real estate investment analysis and advice, she also assists new funds in establishing their strategy and structure, with a view to their launch. She has a strong background in securitised real estate and investments.

Previously, for more than 10 years, she has been an indirect real estate portfolio manager at Retraites Populaires, a pension fund based in Lausanne. There, she acquired expertise in the selection of listed and unlisted Swiss real estate funds as well as foreign real estate funds.
